Pancake fans will flip over this syrupy-sweet discount.
In honor of IHOP’s 59th anniversary Tuesday, participating restaurants will sell short stacks, or three buttermilk pancakes, for 59 cents from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This dine-in only deal is limited to one per person and while supplies last.
A short stack usually costs $5.79.
“While 59 may seem like an odd, in-between year to commemorate, at IHOP we believe that every moment is worth celebrating, and that every party is better with hot, freshly -made pancakes,” Alisa Gmelich, IHOP’s vice president of marketing, said in a statement, noting the pancakes are the chain’s “most cherished menu item.”
It ought to be: The chain was the International House of Pancakes until the name was shortened to its initials, IHOP.
To be on the safe side before heading to IHOP, confirm your closest location is participating and has pancakes left.
The chain is also offering gift card discounts. Through July 31, get a $5 coupon when you buy a $25 gift card at participating locations. The coupon expires Aug. 30.
